Amanda Jenson is an illustrator, designer and art director currently living in the Twin Cities, Minnesota with her game loving husband, teenage son, and two cats, Binx and Leeloo.

Amanda spent her childhood drawing and painting in the suburbs of Chicago and at her Oma's kitchen table in Wisconsin. She grew up spending time in the outdoors and reading many children's books (favorites are Jan Brett and Janell Cannon), which inspired her to pursue art as early as she can remember. She attended The American Academy of Art in Chicago, Illinois where she graduated with a BFA in Illustration. After freelancing, teaching art classes and working at various art studios, she then attended The Illinois Institute of Art and graduated with a certificate in graphic design studies.

With 10 years of experience in the toy and game industry, Amanda has created illustrations and designs for board games, stationery and greeting cards, toys, coloring books, educational toys, puzzles, and more.

Amanda works primarily digitally but enjoys occasionally working in watercolor and acrylics when the time allows. She focuses on bright colors, fun characters and scenes that bring smiles.

When she isn't drawing or painting, Amanda is a loving cat and human mom and passionate table top and PC gamer. She enjoys crafting and experimenting with new art styles and mediums. She loves hiking, camping and spending time with her family, all which inspire her to create what she loves. You can find her work in Barnes and Nobel, Target and various specialty toy stores.
